I saw a post you made on a culinary arts board about a friend bringing a broom and salt to your home as a housewarming present. You said that you didn’t know what the salt was for. The broom and salt are actually old Nordic and Celtic traditions for housewarming gifts. You’re supposed to put the salt in the corners and then sweep everything from the front door to the back door, to sweep out whatever evil spirits might remain from the previous occupants. Just a little piece of unsolicited and useless information, My ex-wife used to accuse me of being laden down with it. *grin*
